Devlog Week #1

Hello there! 🫡

We've been working hard to improve our game, and we're excited to share the progress we've made this week. Here’s a quick update on what we’ve accomplished:

  • Game Design Document

The Game Design Document is now fully completed! This includes all the core mechanics, game loops, technical details, and planning that will guide the development process. With everything laid out, we’re ready to move into the full development phase, ensuring that we stay on track and organized.

  • Art Design Document

Our Art Design Document is also finished. It covers the entire art direction of the game, including the visual theme, character designs, level design, and environmental objects. The chosen art style aligns perfectly with the overall game concept, giving the world a cohesive look and feel. With this blueprint in place, our artists can move forward with consistency and clarity.

  • Concept Art

We've developed several pieces of concept art that visualize key aspects of the game, from characters and enemies to environmental assets. These serve as a foundation for future development, and we’re refining them based on feedback to ensure they resonate with the overall vision.

  • Prototyping

Early prototyping is underway! We've started building test environments to see how our mechanics will function in practice. This phase is crucial as it allows us to identify any potential gameplay issues early on. Right now, we're focusing on the core movement system and basic level layouts.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to bring this game to life! See you next week! 😁
